We cannot say thank you enough to the generous donors that contributed to our Give DeKalb 2021 campaign. Together, more than 70 individuals and families donated $36,155 to support TDS and projects at the Library and Community Resource Center in Nyegina! This outpouring of support exceeded our original fundraising goal and broke our previous record set in 2020. We are still waiting on a final tally that includes our share of the $150,000 bonus pool, but the money raised through the Give DeKalb 2021 campaign will allow us to support an expansion of the children's area at the library and finally move forward with outfitting the facility with more computers.
We are not the only ones that want to say thank you to our committed donors. The 28 girls that are receiving a full scholarship through the WIllmann Scholarship Fund worked together to write and perform a song of gratitude for the tremendous support that the TDS community has provided to them and their fellow classmates at Nyegina Secondary.
