About the event
On Sunday, October 27, Tanzania Development Support is partnering with Tavern on Lincoln to create a dining experience that is uniquely Tanzanian. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the nation that is home to more than 57 million people and some of Africa's most iconic landscapes.
Please join us for an evening of storytelling and experience a taste of Tanzanian culture through food, song, art, and language. It will be more than just a typical fundraising dinner. We will be bringing parts of Tanzania to downtown DeKalb. You will have a chance to mingle with friends, play games, hear personal stories of Tanzania, and enjoy a special menu that includes some familiar East African ingredients with Tavern on Lincoln's own fusion twist.
Thanks to the generosity of Tavern on Lincoln, all proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Tanzania Development Support.
