Wow! We are blown away by the support that we have received as part of Give DeKalb County 2020. The annual giving day program through the DeKalb County Community Foundation and DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership has been the single biggest day of fundraising for TDS the last three years, but this year was special. We are still waiting for the last mailed donation checks to be processed, but so far we have raised $28,285!! That is almost $10,000 more than our previous Give DeKalb County record!
Once a final tally has been counted, our share of the bonus pool of more than $100,000 will be calculated and added to our total. We are hopeful that the bonus match will bring us well above $31,000 for the campaign!
TDS was not the only nonprofit that saw record success through the matching program. This year's Give DeKalb County efforts saw more than $1 million donated to DeKalb County nonprofits! During uncertain economic times, this is truly a story of an entire community showing how generous it can be. We are thankful to be apart of the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership and the remarkable organizations striving to make the world a better place.
