Water Walkathon with West Aurora High School

A Water Walkathon event will take place February 24th where National Honor Society students from West Aurora High School will compete in three timed events to simulate the long walk to water that many girls and women face when attempting to secure clean water for their families. Students are partnering with TDS and will individually and collectively fundraise with aspirations for the school to raise enough funds to construct a Water tank similar to the ones built at Mkirira Primary. TDS is excited to help raise awareness of water issues in the Mara and looking for other partners to help make this Water Walkathon a great success.
